Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons elderflower syrup 23 ml
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice 15 ml
  • 6 leaves mint
  • a couple of ice cubes
  • 3/4 cup prosecco dry/brut, 180 ml
  • 1/4 cup sparkling water or soda water 60 ml

Instructions

  • Measure out elderflower syrup and lime juice and add them to a white wine glass. Add mint leaves.
  • Muddle the leaves slightly (bruise them) to infuse the cocktail with the mint flavor. You can do this with a muddler or just with a handle of a wooden spoon.
  • Add a couple of ice cubes.
  • Fill the glass with prosecco and soda water.
  • Stir gently and adjust the drink to your liking by adding more lime juice or syrup if necessary.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

  • Instead of Prosecco (Italian sparkling white wine), you can also use Champagne (French sparkling white wine), or Cava (Spanish sparkling white wine). You can also use regular white wine, the drink will also be very good.
