Add strawberries, tequila, lime juice, agave syrup, and Cointreau to a blender container and blend until smooth.
Adjust the flavor to your liking (the sweetness of strawberries and the sourness of limes can vary) by adding more lime juice or agave syrup as needed.
Now that you have your strawberry margarita mixture, it’s time to chill it. You can do this by:
– Serving on the rocks: Add some ice cubes to your glasses of choice (margarita glass, coupe glass, or short glass) and pour in the strawberry margarita.
– Shaking: Add a handful of ice cubes to a shaker and pour in your margarita mixture. Close the shaker and shake for 20-30 seconds until thoroughly chilled. Strain into your glasses.
– Making a slushy version/frozen strawberry margarita: Use frozen strawberries instead of fresh ones. This will create a thicker but still drinkable drink that is perfectly cold and not diluted with ice.
Enjoy right away!
