Ingredients

for the strawberry margaritas you will need:

  • ½ lb (225g) strawberries fresh or frozen (preferably frozen)
  • cup (80ml) silver tequila
  • 3 tablespoons (45ml) freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) agave syrup
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) Cointreau or other orange liqueur
  • ice cubes omit if using frozen strawberries

Instructions

  • Add strawberriestequilalime juiceagave syrup, and Cointreau to a blender container and blend until smooth.
  • Adjust the flavor to your liking (the sweetness of strawberries and the sourness of limes can vary) by adding more lime juice or agave syrup as needed.
  • Now that you have your strawberry margarita mixture, it’s time to chill it. You can do this by:
  • – Serving on the rocks: Add some ice cubes to your glasses of choice (margarita glass, coupe glass, or short glass) and pour in the strawberry margarita.
  • – Shaking: Add a handful of ice cubes to a shaker and pour in your margarita mixture. Close the shaker and shake for 20-30 seconds until thoroughly chilled. Strain into your glasses.
  • – Making a slushy version/frozen strawberry margarita: Use frozen strawberries instead of fresh ones. This will create a thicker but still drinkable drink that is perfectly cold and not diluted with ice.
  • Enjoy right away!
