Instructions
- Add strawberries, tequila, lime juice, agave syrup, and Cointreau to a blender container and blend until smooth.
- Adjust the flavor to your liking (the sweetness of strawberries and the sourness of limes can vary) by adding more lime juice or agave syrup as needed.
- Now that you have your strawberry margarita mixture, it’s time to chill it. You can do this by:
- – Serving on the rocks: Add some ice cubes to your glasses of choice (margarita glass, coupe glass, or short glass) and pour in the strawberry margarita.
- – Shaking: Add a handful of ice cubes to a shaker and pour in your margarita mixture. Close the shaker and shake for 20-30 seconds until thoroughly chilled. Strain into your glasses.
- – Making a slushy version/frozen strawberry margarita: Use frozen strawberries instead of fresh ones. This will create a thicker but still drinkable drink that is perfectly cold and not diluted with ice.
- Enjoy right away!
